报告题目:Modeling the transport of pollutants in linear poroelastic media (污染物通过线弹性吸附多孔介质运移的模拟)
Abstract: The construction of a macroscopic continuum model of adsorption in porous materials consisting of three components will be presented. We suppose physical adsorption processes which means that particles of the adsorbate stick to the skeleton due to weak van der Waals forces. …………Results show that after some period of time a maximum arises for the amount of adsorption for a certain range of fluid/adsorbate velocities.

报告题目:Mechanical Analysis of Hydraulic Uplift (水力上浮的力学分析)
Abstract: The process of hydraulic uplift as a consequence of upwards oriented hydraulic gradient is analyzed my beans of the theory of moving surfaces of discontinuities. The appearance of water filled horizontal gaps is thus explained as well as the formation of sand boils or sand volcanoes, which are interpreted as Rayleigh-Taylor instabilities.
