Robert Liang教授简介:
Dr. Robert Liang (PhD, UC Berkeley) is professor at the Department of Civil Engineering at the
Dr. Liang has published more than 200 papers in international journals and conference proceedings in the areas of geotechnical engineering, mechanics of materials, highway pavement engineering, infrastructure construction and monitoring, geohazard monitoring and assessment, etc. His current research projects span into four areas: development of a comprehensive geological hazard management system for Ohio DOT, design method for drilled shafts stabilized slopes, development of p-y criteria for rock mass and development of accelerated laboratory polishing equipment for identifying high polishing-resistant hot mix asphalt materials.
Dr. Liang is active in ASCE (American Society of Civil Engineers), TRB (Transportation Research Board), and DFI (Deep Foundation Institute) committee works. He serves as associate editor for the ASCE’s Journal of Engineering Mechanics. He has received many awards from ASCE,
