报告人简介：
Chris Wood has been in China for 10 years (since 2002). He is a lecturer and researcher in the
college of life sciences at ZJU. He has been lecturing on how to prepare papers for publication,
English for science, and Bioethics for 8 years now in Zhejiang University and also as a visiting
lecturer in Kyushu University - Japan. He is also a visiting lecturer in Oxford Brookes university –
UK. He has been a professional editor for Edanz – (English editing for scientists) and is now a
regular editor for papers prior to publication for the College of Life Sciences (also editing for
College of Animal Sciences, the Medical School and the English dept) here at ZJU (and
occasionally for some other universities here in China). He is a particular specialist on Education
theory being education officer and designer for the phase 1 education centre for Xixi National
Wetland Park here in Hangzhou, also designing and leeding Xixi’s phase 1 the education
programs. He has been the invited speaker in seminars in Hong Kong, Mainland China and
Korea in aspects of education theory. His publications mostly relate to the field of conservation
biology, and hematology including as lead author of an article in the human medical journal the
lancet (I.F. 18).
